The Nepean Community Gardens were created in 1991. We are one of the largest community gardening sites in Ottawa, Ontario, with around 250 plots and more than 200 active gardeners.

We have three types of plots available for lease from May through October each year:

Annuals

20x30'

Perennials

20x15'

Rates and services

• Annual plot: $50
• Perennial plot: $30
• Raised bed: $30
• Locker: $5

We offer free compost to our gardeners, provided by the City of Ottawa. Annual plots are rototilled every spring. Perennials are only available to active NAGA members and they are entirely maintained by the gardener renting them. Seniors (65+) get $5 off on all plots. Rates are per plot per year.
